CHORLEY born Olympic gold medallist Jason Queally is one of a host of famous faces backing road safety in the latest edition of Roadlife magazine.
Jason Queally said:
“I am thrilled to be involved with Roadlife and to support road safety in Lancashire. Staying safe is crucial to me in my role as a professional cyclist, but it is just as important to those who cycle as a hobby. Cycling is a fantastic way to have fun and keep fit and with the help of Lancashire County Council’s Road Safety Group more people can learn how to do it safely.”
Hairy Biker Dave Myers, the Lancashire Hotpots and a selection of BBC’s Grumpy Old Drivers are just a few of the other celebrities who have also contributed to Roadlife, due to be launched this Thursday.
This year’s bumper edition of the FREE magazine is jam-packed full of real life stories, quizzes and road safety information and advice.
Peak behind the scenes at Holby City, find out what to eat to help you stay safe on the roads and take a trip back over the past ten years. From tips for parents to cars of the future, there is something for everyone in the latest edition of Roadlife.
The 2008/2009 edition of Roadlife is also celebrating ten years of Lancashire’s ‘Together We Can Make the Difference’ (MTD) road safety strategy. Take a look back over the past ten years from the launch of MTD and road safety developments to celebrity weddings and number one hits.
