Delivery of the Local Transport Plan

Lancashire's first Local Transport Plan was a groundbreaking document bringing together all of the County Council's transport policies and setting clear plans and targets. We have been effective in the delivery of this plan with additional resources found in both capital and revenue expenditure. The exceptional plan delivery has been recognised through our Annual Progress Reports which have seen increasing recognition of the effectiveness of this first Local Transport Plan. This recognition has been accompanied by the allocation of "performance-related" funding being allocated to enhance delivery of the programme.
