• Monitoring and Reviewing the Municipal Waste Management Strategy.
• Reviewing the Joint Minerals and Waste Local Plan.
• Contribution to Policy Development on Waste and Minerals matters in the Joint Structure Plan.
• Monitoring and Comment on Waste and Minerals Proposals in Plans and Strategies of Neighbouring Authorities.
• Commenting on Waste and Minerals aspects of Regional Planning Guidance.
• The provision of Advice on Government Guidance Notes and other relevant National Publications.
• Delivering the Woodlands from Waste Project
