Consultation Draft (0.3mb)
The draft Lancashire Climate Change Strategy and annual Action Plan sets out a framework for action on issues most effectively dealt with at sub regional scale. It has been developed by the Lancashire Climate Change Partnership, which comprises a range of public, private and third sector agencies, including all local authorities in Lancashire.
The draft Strategy sets out a vision for the year 2020 together with a range of objectives for the next five years. The proposed target of 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from Lancashire by 2020 is in line with national targets in the Climate Change Bill.
The consultation period will run from November to 14th January 2008.
