Morecambe North by election

A by-election for the Morecambe North electoral division was held on 15 February 2018. The result of the by-election is shown below:

Eligible voters = 10454, No. of Ballots = 2728, No. of spoilt Ballots = 7

Conservative Party candidate Stuart Charles Morris elected with 1332 votes (48.8%)

NB: The result of the Morecambe North by-election did not affect the political balance of the County Council. The composition of the county council is: Conservative 44, Labour 30, Liberal Democrats 4, Independents 2, Non-aligned 2, Green Party 1, UKIP 1.
