The Site

Within our grounds Borwick is able to offer a number of onsite activities to suit all ages. Visitors can choose to relax in our beautiful gardens or try one of our more adventurous activities. All activities are provided by fully qualified instructors.

The Canal
Borwick's private landing stage gives us access to the Lancaster Canal for canoeing, kayaking, raft building and cruises on our Boat.

The Games Court
A dedicated hard surface play area which can be used for a variety of purposes including basketball, football, tennis and problem solving activities.

Low Ropes Course
A fun mini-ropes course suitable for all ages and a variety of activities.

Zip Line
Jump off the platform and fly through the air on our pommel seat zip line.

Assault Wall
A team challenge to get over the wall. The height can be set to suit the age and ability of your group.

Spider's Web
A team challenge to get through the web.

Pamper Pole
A 25 foot pole for climbing with a single person platform at the top and optional jump to trapeze.

Boulder Wall
An indoor climbing wall suitable for all ages and abilities.

Tree Climb
An approximately 40 foot climb up a Copper Beech.

Orienteering Courses
Two courses for different abilities around the gardens and woodland within our grounds.

Tyrolean Traverse
Cross the divide over Borwick's pond.

Crate Stack
A great problem solving activity.
