Here's some pre-visit information to help you when planning your visit
The engine is scheduled to run three times during the afternoons that we are open: 12.45pm-13.30pm, 14.15pm-15.00pm, 15.45pm-16.30pm

Bank Holiday weekends: Saturday, Sunday & Monday 12 noon to 5pm
We are open on Bank Holidays throughout the season, and for 'special weekends' throughout the season. Look out for the dates in the 'Events' section of our website
Yes we have activities for children including paper weaving, printing, games, Mill Mouse trails and dressing up. Look out for the Family Friendly leaflet which gives details of events and activities for families at Queen Street Mill and other Lancashire County Museum venues.
Yes we have a café which serves hot drinks and cakes and snacks. If you would like a more substantial meal, staff will be happy to direct you to a nearby alternative.
Yes, the mill is fully accessible for parents with pushchairs and there are baby change facilities.
We have parking close to the entrance for disabled persons and all of the site is accessible by wheelchair. There is only one area on an upper level and there is a lift facility.
Please ask a member of staff for permission beforehand..
Yes we have a large free car park opposite the museum.
