Your Entitlement as a Learner

All learners are entitled to:

• A choice of learning opportunities at a variety of times and places
• Learning which takes place in safe and accessible premises
• Accurate and impartial advice or referral on opportunities for learning, training and work both within this service and with other providers
• Receive any appropriate additional learning support
• Help with developing the literacy, language, numeracy and/or ICT skills needed for the course
• A high standard of teaching from staff who understand the individual needs and abilities of adult learners
• Learn in an environment free from bias and discrimination and be treated with respect and equity
• Opportunities to comment on the service provided, including access to a prompt and responsive complaints procedure
• Information about service policies and performance
