Lancashire County Council arranges extensive processes to consult those potentially affected by proposed changes in education provision.

The proposals are advertised in the press, and copies of relevant documentation are made available to interested parties, including parents, school governing bodies, elected members, unions, diocesan/church authorities and school staff.

Information is also made available on the County Council's website and in the Council's information centres. Comments on proposals are invited from those wishing to express their views, and a variety of options are available for consultees to respond.
