Introduction

This website has been designed to allow all schools and services maintained by the CSA access to relevant and up to date information about current policies and procedures relating to the well-being and protection of children.

The information contained on this website is relevant to any staff who work with or on behalf of children and young people.

It is recommended, however, that those members of staff who have particular responsibilities for handling child protection concerns should familiarise themselves with the contents and, together with their Headteacher or line manager, should decide on the best way of disseminating the information to colleagues.

We trust the contents will prove useful and we will undertake to provide further information as it becomes available to the Child Protection Service.
