Why Join?

"Staff morale is central to the ethos and creation of a highly achieving school, and also for sustaining success. It is vital that everyone feels to be an equal player and 'well-being' informs me of issues. It acts as a barometer and highlights areas for development, as well as fostering collective responsibility".

"The Well-Being Programme has made a valuable contribution to the school's overall improvement".

Lancashire Well-being Programme for Schools

I have recently taken over the management of the wellbeing programme for school staff from Brenda Hopper who has developed this successful programme over the past six years.

Many head teachers will know me from my work in PSHE with Learning Excellence and I look forward to working closely with schools in this new role.

The wellbeing of staff is high on the agenda of many head teachers/senior managers and many schools/teams have already completed six annual surveys.

For those heads/senior managers who would like to know more about this aspect of the programme and how the survey can benefit their school I will be holding briefing sessions in the latter part of this term. Please see Head Teachers/Senior Managers Briefing Page to book on one of these.  They are also advertised on the School's Portal and I look forward to meeting and working with you in the future.

Regards
