Corporate strategy 2011-2013

Welcome to Lancashire County Council’s refreshed corporate strategy 2011/13. This sets out our key priorities for the next two years which are, even in these tough financial times, still driven by the simple but fundamental philosophy that:

“Lancashire County Council exists for one purpose and one purpose only – to serve the people of Lancashire.”

We are updating our corporate strategy during one of the most challenging periods in government history. Over the next couple of years we must continue to deliver effective services and positive outcomes for Lancashire, while managing substantial reductions to our budget.

Our key objectives

We have established the following key objectives which will shape the activities of the council going forward. These are grouped into four themes.
