Future Horizons Apprentice @ Your Business

The programme will supply young people aged 16-18, who have completed pre-employability programmes (i.e. Future Horizons) to companies across Lancashire based on their career aspirations and the business requirements. Your business will benefit from a young, enthusiastic new member of the team who has been through a work-ready programme with a Lancashire based training provider. Businesses have an opportunity to trial a young person for up to 8 weeks at no cost. This enables the young person to gain work experience whilst also allowing your business to work with the young person to help shape them to your own environment and ways of working. 

The trial placement gives you a fantastic opportunity to see if the young person is suitable to work within your business in the long term and gives you sufficient time to see if they would be suitable to become a full time apprentice which would support growth for business as well as increase efficiency if suitably placed. Your business could also receive financial incentives during the apprenticeship while the candidate is completing their qualification framework. The apprentice and business will receive mentoring support throughout by a dedicated recruitment advisor.
