Private Business Programmes
Lancashire County Council has commissioned One Connect Limited to support businesses to recruit the talent of the future by offering a bespoke service with a dedicated adviser for private sector businesses. Depending on your business needs we can recruit for your business with a chance to employ a young person on a trial basis by providing work placement opportunity of up to 8 weeks at no cost to your business.
As well as sourcing new employees, if you already have young people working for you aged 16-24 years old we can access apprenticeship training, providing independent advice and guidance to find the most suitable provider for your business. This is a programme to help up skill current employees within Lancashire giving young people training opportunities within their current working environment.
We also have access to unemployed young people who are willing to spend time showcasing their abilities to businesses in the hope there are employment opportunities at the end of the placement. These vary from college leavers to graduates so almost any type of business and job opportunity can be catered for. Our adviser can help you through the process of recruiting and training, offering HR advice, leaving you time to run your business.
