Networks of cycle routes are being developed in our urban areas, making easier to cycle to work, school, college and the shops. Our new 20 mph speed limits are making it safer in residential areas.

"On the flat lanes of West Lancashire. There are lots of quiet lanes and good cafes."

"It's 130 miles and takes in Clitheroe, Waddington Fell, Kirkby Lonsdale and Cockerham Sands."

"Lancashire is the best area for training in Britain because of the variety of flat and hilly terrain."

"I love the view of Lancashire from the Nick O'Pendle."
