When the Regional Spatial Strategy was adopted on 30 September 2008, the Joint Lancashire Structure Plan ceased to be part of the Development Plan, with the exception of Policy 29 which has been saved by the Secretary of State until the completion of the Partial Review of Regional Spatial Strategy.
