Traveline

What is traveline?

It’s a service which provides impartial journey planning information about all public transport services – buses, coaches, trains, ferries, trams, metro and underground - throughout England, Wales and Scotland. At present it offers information based on details in published timetables – but some areas provide more detailed information.

Use the links below to get local and national service information from the national Public Transport Information (PTi) website. You can find information about Lancashire or any other part of the country. Try our quick links for easy access to local and national websites.

Please note that views expressed by external websites may not be those held by the Lancashire County Council. Lancashire County Council accepts no responsibility for any material contained on these sites.

How can I contact traveline by phone?

You can phone traveline from anywhere on 0871 200 22 33 . The number can also be dialled from most countries abroad, +44 871 200 22 33

The service is available everywhere between 8am and 8pm every day (except the 25th December and 1st January); call centres in some areas provide local transport information over longer hours.

When you get through, you will hear a recorded greeting. If you select "local travel information", your call will be connected automatically to your local traveline call centre if possible. However, if you are calling from a mobile phone, or a phone we cannot locate, you may be asked to tell us where you are calling from so that your call can be connected to the most appropriate call centre.

Please note that calls may be recorded for training and analysis purposes.
