O&S Committees

There are five O&S Committees : Management Committee; Sustainable Development; Children & Young People; Communities & Partnerships; Adult Social Care & Health. These are some of the things they consider:

• Management Committee

  Co-ordinates, monitors and evaluates the work of the other Committees, and also has responsibility for looking at cross cutting issues, like finance, equality & diversity and HR. View membership, agendas and minutes of this committee

• Sustainable Development

  Looks at sustainable development, planning and the environment. View membership, agendas and minutes of this committee

• Children & Young People

  Considers services for children and young people, early years and childcare, youth justice. View membership, agendas and minutes of this committee

• Communities & Partnerships

  Concerned with issues around community planning, local strategic partnerships, neighbourhood renewal, public protection. View membership, agendas and minutes of this committee

• Adult Social Care & Health

  Has responsibility for looking into adult social services, health equality, health improvement, as well as having a statutory responsibility to consider the activities of the local NHS. View membership, agendas and minutes of this committee
