FANCY yourself as the next Tarantino or Tim Burton?

The Dukes Den, are in the early stages of organising a film festival – and they want your films.

County Councillor Mark Perks, cabinet member for young people, said: "This sounds like good fun and a great opportunity for young people in Lancaster as the Dukes Den has produced some excellent work in the past.

"I'd encourage young people to put their creativity into action and get the cameras rolling!"

The Dukes Den is a young person's filmmaking group run by Lancashire County Council's at DT3, the Youth Theatre at the Dukes in Lancaster.

It's open to anyone aged 11-19 who go along can learn all aspects of filmmaking from professionals, shoot their own original films and then experience the thrill of seeing their work on the big screen.
