LCDL is Lancashire County Council's economic development company, providing all the economic development services of Lancashire County Council, and is committed to making Lancashire a place where everybody matters. That means helping businesses, individuals and local communities however and whenever we can through loans, grants and practical advice and assistance.
LCDL is owned by the people of Lancashire for the benefit of Lancashire. Any profits we make are ploughed back to help sow the seeds of success for small and medium sized businesses, disadvantaged individuals and community projects.

- 4-5/07/2009 - Lancashire County Council is pleased to support the Adrenaline Gateway Single Classic Weekender at Lee Quarry, Bacup. This event is organised by the Lancashire County Council's Countryside Service and by its economic development department, Lancashire County Developments Limited (LCDL), Rossendale Borough Council, Rossendale Leisure Trust and Singletrack Mountain Bike Magazine.
- 15/07/2009 - Lancashire County Council take their place at the Raising Economic Prosperity Through Partnership Beacon national launch.
- 16/09/2009 - Local entrepreneurs in Preston, Chorley and South Ribble will once again be invited to attend the Central Lancashire Business Event.
