Lancashire County Council's Wellbeing, prevention and early help service (Young Peoples Service) allocates funding to support local third sector organisations working with young people.
We aim to meet specific local needs by supporting local groups to extend the range and quality of places to go and things to do for young people in the local area.
We give priority to groups who support and work with vulnerable young people.
Only Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) groups registered with the Wellbeing, Prevention and Early Help Service (YPS) can apply. Find out how to register.
You must apply for funding before your project takes place as we will not fund applications to cover expenditure already made. You can apply for funding anytime throughout the year.
The maximum amount we can give to any registered group is £2,000 in one financial year.
The Small Grants process for 2016 - 2017 is now open for applications.
A panel of young people will assess all completed applications and make recommendations regarding each application.
All applications will then be considered at the children, young people and schools cabinet decision making session, which takes place every 3 months.
