We hold information evenings so that you can meet our adoption team and ask questions. The team will be able to answer any questions you might have, talk you through the process and offer confidential advice.
Information events take place from 6pm to 7.30pm with a short slideshow presentation starting at 6pm.
We have events for people interested in adoption and specific events for those considering a Best for Baby (concurrency) or Better Beginnings (fostering for adoption) placement.
All information evenings are held at County Hall:
You will find free parking on Arthur Street. The entrance to County Hall is on Pitt Street and there is disabled access here.
You don't need to book on our information events, but we ask that you please arrive early to allow yourself time to get settled before the presentation starts at 6pm. We also ask that you stay for the whole session. If you have any questions about attending the information evenings please call us on 0300 123 6723.
If you're thinking about adoption then we'd love to help.
If you'd prefer to speak to someone, then give us a call on

We're looking for people who would consider adopting more than one child. If this is you find out about the benefits of adopting siblings and get in touch.
