'Best Small Visitor Attraction of the Year' Award 20010/11.
In June 2010 we won the 'Best Small Visitor Attraction of the Year' Award 20010/11 at the annual Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board Tourism Awards event. Following the two-year £3.5million refurbishment of the Museum and subsequent Royal opening by HRH The Duke of Gloucester, we received the award at a glittering ceremony hosted by TV personality Michaela Strachan at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Accrington.
